Rampant robbery took place in the house of a minority in Kachurbaria village of Lohagara municipal area of ​​Narail. The robbers robbed the family members and robbed huge amount of gold, cash and mobile phones in the face of arms.

The robbery took place in the late night of Budhabad. Lohagara Police Station visited the spot on the night after getting the news.

Meghnath Do, son of the deceased Shutu Kumar Do, of the house of Kachubariya village, told that on Wednesday (July 18th), a group of 7/8 people entered the house and broke the lock of the gate of the house and kept the family members hostage in a room below the floor. . The robbers then looted three rooms on the second floor and three rooms on the bottom floor, taking away Tk 70,000 in cash, 15 rounds of gold and 4 mobile phones.

Lohagara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Pabir Kumar Biswas admitted the matter and said the legal action would be taken after investigation.

Recent incidents of theft and robbery in Lohagara municipal areas and different villages of the upazila increased.
